It has been two years since the 2021 Married at First Sight UK brides and grooms walked down the aisle to marry a stranger. Many have been looking back at that time and one bride, Alexis, says she no longer "regrets" going on the show after receiving therapy since the programme.
Alexis did not have a smooth ride on Married at First Sight UK having first been married to Welsh groom Jordan, however, their marriage ended pretty quickly when Jordan cheated on Alexis with another bride, Megan. Later in the 2021 series, Alexis re-entered the process with Ant, who had been married to Nikita, however their marriage also did not last.
Despite re-entering the show with Ant, Alexis and Ant decided to part ways, meaning Alexis finished the experiment single. Calling the show "the craziest thing" she has ever done Alexis has spoken about her time on MAFS and the support she received afterwards.

She said: "A whole 2 years today since I married a stranger! The craziest thing I've done in my life this far but what a journey it has been. I regretted saying yes for so long after the process but I was only beating myself up so I knew I had to change my mindset on my personal experience during the experiment."
"Since starting therapy and fully understanding myself and what I require in life I can honestly say now that I have no regrets as not every loss is a negative if anything I've learnt and gained the love back to myself. This is probably the first time in my life I can comfortably say I'm happy and ok with being single, alone and not in love!"
Since the show Alexis is now a model and livestream presenter and fans last saw Alexis on TV screens when she attended the Married at First Sight Christmas reunion in 2022. You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to the newsletter here.
