Channel 4 reality show, Married at First Sight's Thomas Hartley has wowed fans with his story, after posting on Instagram for World Mental Health Day. He included an amazing transformation picture alongside an inspiring caption.
Thomas, who had been coupled up with Adrian Sanderson for the latest season of the popular programme, underlined a power message. Fans instantly came out to support him.
Viewers of the show fell in love with the Scouse pair's relationship on the TV programme, despite the couple getting off to a difficult start as they jetted off to Mexico for their honeymoon, reported Liverpool Echo. However, the two overcame their rocky start and decided to stay together in the final commitment ceremony of the series.
Questions remained over whether there was a romantic spark in their relationship and when the final dinner party took place in Tuesday's episode, Thomas was upset as he spotted the romantic connection between the other couples around the table. This prompted a tearful heart to heart and they decided they will not take their final vows but hoped they will remain friends.

Thomas has previously opened up on how he was in an abusive relationship prior to appearing on the show and it was this theme that created the backbone of his Instagram post. He wrote: "If you haven’t read my story, on the left I had just escaped a very abusive and drug and alcohol fuelled relationship". He was referring to a split photograph on the post.
Continuing, he said: "I have always suffered with an element of mental health as most people have. I incorporated the gym and even though I made a physical change, I also use the gym and exercise as medicine. If you can, do it. Don’t give up. Always speak."
His honest and open post prompted support from fans. One person wrote: "Amazing self transformation Thomas. It’s great to see positive stories and awareness giving hope to others who might be struggling. Sending love. Thankyou for being so raw, open and honest".
Another agreed: "It has been an absolute pleasure watching you be so open and honest on TV. I love that you have been yourself with no ulterior motives. You say it how it is and expect people to take you are warts and all. Which is exactly how it should be. Whatever has happened to lead you to where you are now, continue to be proud of where you are at, and of your journey. XXX"
A third pointed out: "I love that you’ve written “if you can”". While another joined in: "Well done, you look amazing. You absolutely crack me up on MAFS I could watch you all day. X".
