Married at First Sight's Gemma vows to have her say after dramatic episode

In a new twist to the show two new couples have entered Married at First Sight. Gemma, a hairdresser, and Matt, a barber, met and married each other halfway through the series. While the couple seemed to get on well at first, they quickly began to have marital issues.

Even before meeting Matt, Gemma made it very clear that sex was very important to her in a relationship. Throughout the wedding, she continued to make sexual jokes which Matt did not find funny and found uncomfortable. Matters got worse on their honeymoon when Matt told Gemma he was "ready to walk away" following an explosive row. The newlyweds fell out after Gemma made a sexual remark while the pair were enjoying drinks.

Explaining how it made him feel, Matt told her: "You are sexually pushing me away. It makes me go in on myself. I don't know what it is but for me it shuts me off." The show then fast-forwards to the following day with a teary Gemma explaining Matt had stormed out of dinner.

She told the cameras: "I don't even know how it happened. We ended up having a really big argument." Although the pair agreed to stick out their marriage, Gemma has taken to her social media since the show aired.

Posting on Instagram she vowed to have her say after the dramatic episode. She said: "I'll tell you all soon the parts you were not shown. Oh how different the narrative would be. I'll have my say."

Before the series started another bride Zoe promised there would be drama, as she told her fans she "didn't like" looking at the other contestant's faces.
