Married at First Sight UK (MAFS UK) stars Dan Mckee and Matt Jameson have announced they are splitting up after two years together.
Dan, 28, and Matt, 40, made history by being the first same-sex pairing after being matched up on the sixth series of the popular E4 show, broadcast last year, reports The Mirror.
Addressing their followers, they wrote in a joint statement that was part of the post: "As you all know, we have been on an incredible adventure together the last two years.

"We have given ourselves every opportunity to make things work as a couple, but over the last few months we have realised that we are actually better as friends.
"Break ups are never easy, even when amicable, but we can't thank you enough for your support and kindness following our journey together," they continued in the post.
Dan and Matt further wrote: "There's nothing but love and good energy between us, and we feel very lucky to have found each other in our lives. Just sadly not as a couple!"
They concluded the post by saying they would support each other moving forward. They said: "Although we are parting ways, we will always continue to support one another".
The former couple's post prompted well-wishes on social media this evening. Some of their followers expressed sadness over the news, like a few fellow MAFS UK alumni.
Amy Christophers, 36 – who like Nikita and Marilyse had appeared alongside Dan and Matt on the show last year – offered them support as part of her response.
The show's relationship expert Paul C. Brunson, 48, also reacted. He wrote: "I loved you both before you met, loved you while you were together and I will love you apart".
