Married At First Sight Australia reunion descends into chaos over 'sexting' rumours

E4 finally aired the Married At First Sight Australia reunion on Monday, May 8. The final dinner party saw the brides and grooms from the show reunite to discuss the experiment, and in some cases get answers.

The episode was a dramatic one, with Cam Woods and Tayla Winter in the hot seat for most of the instalment following rumours of a potential sexting scandal. Cam was married to Lyndall Grace on the show and Tayla tied the knot with Hugo Armstrong, although both decided to call it quits.

However just minutes into the highly anticipated reunion episode, Lyndall told cameras: "I have heard from at least two people that Cam and one of the girls in the experiment have been sexting."

At the dinner party, a heartbroken Lyndall then informed a few of her co-stars of her split with Cam during the Final Vows and shared the rumours she'd heard. Tayla, who was last to arrive at the dinner party, was quickly questioned on the speculation but denied it.

As the cast sat down, it was suggested that Cam addressed the "elephant in the room," to which he explained: "I went back home, obviously and was having a bit of friendly banter with Tayla.

"So it was just a back-and-forth text like it was nothing serious, I don't think. It was just a friendly chat. I'm a friendly person. Um, so if you call that sexting, then… Sorry, I've sexted. I don't see why this is a big issue because what happens outside of the experiment is not really anyone's concern."

After listening in silence, Lyndall hit back: "Um, it is a bit of a [concern]. If you are the person matched with Cam, and he'd made several weird comments throughout the experiment and I witnessed several weird things from Tayla that never really made any sense until this sexting thing was brought to my attention."

"So do you think there was something going on before you and before the final vows?" Cam then asked.

Interrupting the chaos, Melinda Willis said: "Cam's deflecting. Why? Tayla's laughing like it's a comedy. Then you've got Lin down the other end of the table heartbroken. A hundred per cent call bulls**t on that. I think it's just a little bit confusing."

When Tayla spoke up she left the table shocked as she brazenly confirmed she'd seen Cameron naked on a FaceTime call. She said: "I mean, it really kind of goes as far as we're friends… I saw his d**k but it was funny."

"Tayla to be fair I don't think it's very funny," Lyndall responded. Cam was then questioned on the saga, to which he said: "I ended up on a night out, in a nightclub where we FaceTimed and I've got all my clothes off."

Lyndall later told the table: "There was a lot, there were a lot of things that were said, and so then to hear this information coming out, I was like, it all makes sense, the affection being there and then suddenly going away, the lack of trying.

"And he dragged me through months of this experiment thinking I was the problem, thinking I could do something better, and I've come out and heard this.

"It just makes everything feel like a lie when he could have just told me that he didn't like me and walked away, and I actually would've had a bit of respect for him."
