Married at First Sight newlyweds Rupert and Evelyn and Hugo and Tayla enjoyed their honeymoons on Wednesday night's show, and it went as expected for one couple who was left with nothing but an awkward few days away.
Fans were left 'cringing' at socially awkward electrician Rupert who admitted his "sexy" new bride model Evelyn makes him nervous.
But it was Hugo, 32, and Tayla's honeymoon in Victoria's wine region which left fans fuming over the 27-year-old nurse's treatment of her new husband which he even branded as "inhumane."
The account executive was banished to sleep on the couch on their first night away together when he pointed out that due to his height he "wouldn't be able to even fit on it," as he promised his new bride he would "curl up on the edge of the bed" if he had to.
Self-confessed 'control freak' Tayla wasn't having any of it as she suggested he slept on the floor with pillows and then thought she struck gold with the wonderful idea he should bed down for the night on the window sill as it was slightly bigger.
"A cushion as big as a pizza slice, you are asking for respect? It goes both ways Tayla," Hugo told his new wife.
"I am not happy with how she is conducting herself - she said in her vows she was kind and fair but it's her way or the high way so yeah not happy," he added as he tucked himself into the window.
We saw later in the programme the couple went out for the day to play a game of croquet when Tayla thought she would 'ramp up the fun' with a bet, whoever won got the bed.
But she failed to mention until she bet her new husband that it would mean who would be getting the bed for their entire time in the experiment, meaning she expected him to be on the couch for weeks on end.
Hugo told the cameras: "No way we bet sleeping arrangements for entire experiment? I didnt mean the entire thing, surely theres no way shes gonna keep someone on a couch all that time that would be inhumane."
Later on, as they sat down for dinner Hugo decided to confront Tayla over her treatment of him when she claimed she is "not the tiniest bit sorry," for how she was making him feel.
In a shocking twist of brutality, she told Hugo he was not her type, telling him to "shut up" as he "likes the sound of his voice too much."
"Probably [I asked for] someone the opposite of you," Tayla said when pressed of what she expected to see at the end of the aisle.
"When I first saw you I thought 'aw he's not very sporty' the way you speak I can tell, I am a bit of a 'man's man' super fit, a bit rowdy, likes to drink beer, and you aren't that - there's your answer you happy?"
"I am not sure where to go from there, I don't see any attention or commitment to give this a go I am struggling to understand why be here if u don't wanna try..." Hugo said.
Meanwhile, things also weren't going smoothly for the other new faces to join the show Evelyn and Rupert, as she attempted to strip off and run the couple a bath to 'heat up' their relationship which left him red-faced and flustered.
Things went from bad to worse as he tried to redeem the honeymoon with a sensual massage that ended up in him tickling his wife with a leaf across her body in a very awkward spa experience as he asked "tell me if that hurts."
Fans took to Twitter, as they believe Tayla is already showing "emotionally abusive traits" similar to groom on the show Harrison, who we previously reported has been held under fire for his treatment to his bride Bronte.
One person wrote: "Tayla is the female Harrison! What an absolute d***! Fair play to Hugo, trying to hold her accountable for her bratty and gaslighting behaviour! #MAFSAU #MAFSAUS #MAFS #MAFSAustralia"
"Tayla reminds me of an old Katie Price with her attitude. Either way… Tayla is a t**t #MAFSAU #MAFSAUS," added another fan.
A third quipped: "Tayla and Harrison to eventually hook up? Vacuous, power-hungry, manipulative a****** deserve love too! #MAFSAUS #MarriedatfirstsightAustralia."
