Catherine Francis thought she'd just won a pair of hospitality tickets for Swansea City, so was a little surprised when club compere Kev Johns started leading her onto the pitch at half-time.
Then she turned round to see her partner of two years - Ben Keefe - on bended knee with a very special question in mind.
Ben's marriage proposal came in front of thousands of fans watching Swansea City's triumph over Coventry City at the Swansea.com Stadium
The newly engaged couple have since become a viral sensation online with 12,000 views of the proposal and messages of love and support coming from all over.

And it was an extra special moment for Catherine, who lost the father-of-her children three years ago.
Ben said he'd know he wanted to propose in quite a different way. The football fan said he not only wanted to share his match-day experience with his partner, but also the rest of their lives together.
Enjoying a dominant Swansea performance, Ben nervously shrunk into his chair as half-time approached "out of nowhere".
Sporting his trusted pair of shorts, he managed to trick Catherine into believing they had won a pair of hospitality tickets. Then, with the cunning distraction from Kevin Johns, Catherine, cheered on by her two children on the sidelines, Annabelle, 12 and William, 8, turned around to discover "the icing on the cake" was her partner on one knee.
"I initially thought we had just won a pair of tickets when Kevin Johns grabbed and pulled my hand onto the pitch, I was wondering why he was dragging me on the field and told me to turn around. I turned around the wrong way at first and that's when I saw Ben on one knee," laughed Catherine as she teared up replying yes to the question.
"We have people joke about Ben dressing for the occasion but it is what he always wears, the only time I have ever seen him in jeans was on our first date so I would have suspected something.
"It was very special to me - three years ago me and the children lost their father and my fiancé at the time on holiday and it was so sudden. He has taken the kids on and it's meant the world, about four or five months ago - they started calling him Dad, he does everything for them a father should do, it felt like the right time for us as a family".
The plan was just under two weeks in the making with Ben reaching out to stadium officials to help co-ordinate his proposal.
"I'm a coach for Port Talbot under 8s football team and we go to games everywhere, football is our life, anyone can get engaged at a restaurant but I wanted something different," said Ben.
"I have been a fan for over 30 years and they got in touch with me last Wednesday when I was around Catherine and I had to dash out of the room and pretend it was a job interview, they were good as gold - giving not just us tickets but our kids and her mother and father too."
What followed after the game - neither of them had expected.
"It's just gone a bit crazy, we've had Coventry fans approach us to say their congratulations, the video is going everywhere on social media and we had people talk to us when we went for food afterwards. We even had a DJ come up to us with his business card and offered to play at our wedding," added Ben.
"The response has been overwhelming, we're incredibly grateful to Sian and the Swans for helping us arrange this and to everyone who's wished us well."
