A number of exciting gigs have been announced for Marlay Park this summer.
The Rathfarnham venue will be hosting some big names including Arctic Monkeys, Dermot Kennedy, and The Weeknd. As with most places, concertgoers have been advised to plan their trip to Marlay Park ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
Arctic Monkeys will be taking to the stage on June 20, followed by Dermot Kennedy playing two nights on June 23 and 24. Additionally, the Weeknd will be performing at the Dublin 16 venue on June 28.
Although tickets for the shows have mostly sold out, you can still grab the few remaining ones on Ticketmaster. Here is all you need to know about attending a gig at Marlay Park:

How to get there?
Promoters MCD are warning attendees to leave at least two hours to get to the venue.
There are a number of Dublin Bus routes that can drop you off near Marlay Park. The number 14 and 75 bus takes you to Ballinteer Shopping Centre which is a short walk away from the venue.
Additionally, the number 16, 116, and 161 buses serve the Grange Road entrances of Marlay Park close to the concert site.
The closest Luas stops are Ballaly and Dundrum which are a 30-minute walk to the site. There will be a Park and Ride shuttle service from Dundrum Town Centre and Custom House Quay. Booking in advance is advised.
A concert shuttle bus by Marathon Sports Travel is the most direct form of transport to the concert - as the drop-off point is directly outside the venue.
Those who are driving from the city centre can access the mark via Ranelagh, Clonskeagh, Goatstown, Sandyford, Grange Road and then onto College Road for car parks. If you're taking the M50, exit M50 at Junction 13 Interchange (Dundrum).
Follow Brehonfield Road R133, direction Rathfarnham. Turn left at Ballinteer St Johns GAA Club onto R822 (signposted Ticknock). Turn right at traffic lights at Taylor’s Three Rock Pub onto College Road R113. The entrance to the car park is off College Road.
The car park has very limited space and has to be pre-booked online. People without a booking will be turned away. The car park opens one hour in advance of the concerts.
Banned items
Concertgoers are forbidden from bringing garden furniture, deckchairs, fold-up chairs, or shooting sticks. Additionally, umbrellas, flagpoles, folding chairs, or alcohol will be confiscated at the ticket barriers.
People have also been warned against bringing any illegal items including drugs and weapons. Additionally, professional cameras or recording equipment are banned.
