With warmer weather finally on the way, Marks & Spencer has curated a stylish outfit perfect for that transition out of spring that it says shoppers can "wear all summer".
The high street retailer has put together a fashion edit of floral dresses full of bold colours for shoppers to "buy now, wear all summer", teaming them up with light denim jackets and ankle boots while the spring weather remains on the nippy side. "Slipping on a joyful floral dress will really make you feel like summer is just around the corner - it heralds the start of longer, brighter days, trips to the park, lazy al fresco meals and a new optimistic mood," M&S said.
One dress in particular was highlighted on the website as a must-have for the upcoming warmer months, with the retailer telling shoppers: "Meet your new favourite dress". The Pure Cotton Floral Midi Waisted Dress comes in either white or pink with a coordinating tie belt, elasticated cuffs, a round neckline and a button fastening in the back, and is priced at £39.50 available in sizes six to 24.

The dress only has two reviews from M&S customers so far, but both awarded it five stars overall with full marks for quality, fit, style and comfort. One of the shoppers who snapped it up wrote: "This is a great summer dress, fitting well and looks good when worn", while the other said they were "very pleased" with the garment.
M&S suggests pairing the dress with its Pure Cotton Denim Jacket, available in either light or dark denim with a price tag of £39.50. This jacket has 4.6 stars based on nearly 450 reviews from shoppers - one person praised: "Fabulous jacket. Just love everything about it!", and someone else branded it "gorgeous".
Another satisfied shopper wrote: "Stylish affordable versatile jacket. Dress it up with a dress or down with jeans. A win-win for any occasion." It didn't manage to win everyone over, however, with a handful of people saying they found the material "stiff" and one person remarking that it was "too boxy".
Marks & Spencer also recommends pairing the floral dress with a bag it describes as "ideal for weekends and beach days". The Straw Drawstring Tote Bag is priced at £39.50, and comes in either a natural straw colour with white or brown handles, or a pink mix for an extra pop of colour with your new summer outfit.
The bag has also only earned two reviews so far from shoppers - but both gave it five stars, with one writing: "A treat for myself - beautiful bag, you won't regret it." The other customer admitted they weren't keen on the bag's outside pocket so had decided to remove it, but said that it looked "fabulous" after the adjustment.
And finally, M&S suggests pairing the summer dress with a pair of its Leather Chelsea Chunky Flat Ankle Boots, available in either black or white for £75. The boots have received an average of 4.4 stars from shoppers, with most customers giving them full marks for being "comfortable", "stylish" and "elegant", although a couple of people knocked points off them because they found that the fit wasn't quite right.
If you want to shop a similar summer look for less, Primark has a Split Hem Floral Midi Dress in a pretty pink floral pattern for £18. The high street favourite also has Chunky Heel Chelsea Boots that look similar to the M&S version but have a much cheaper price tag of £18, as well as a Short Denim Jacket available in three shades of blue, which costs just £17 - Primark doesn't have an online shopping service, but you can check stock at your nearest store via the website.
