Marks and Spencer's Avonmeads store has shared an "exclusive" new vegan version of its Easter Omballs - which it says are "firm favourites" at the store.
Omballs are M&S's characterful chocolate ball product. They were introduced last year to much fanfare - they were the first new characters to join Percy Pig, Colin the Caterpillar and co. in 30 years. And now, the Omballs have gone vegan.
The regular product is still available, but now a vegan version joins the lineup. The item's description on M&S's website reads: "Following a plant-based lifestyle shouldn’t mean missing out on your favourite chocolatey treats. Made with 100% vegan chocolate, our brand-new vegan Omball is finished with chocolate flakes and a cheeky expression."

The Avonmeads foodhall is now one of the few remaining M&S stores in Bristol, after the flagship Broadmead shop closed its doors for the last time in January, having been there since 1952.
The Cribbs Causeway flagship store remains, as do the foodhall on Whiteladies Road, the Eastgate foodhall, and the stores further out in Yate, Longwell Green, and Hengrove.
The Broadmead store remains empty, with no buyer having yet been found. M&S does not own the building, but it is understood the chain does retain a financial interest in it and will work with Bristol City Council to aid its future development.
