The cable knit jumper, which costs £29.50, comes in a vibrant orange shade with cream and pale pink stripes. It's relaxed in its cut, with a crew neck and blouson sleeves. It can be purchased here.

Captioning the image, the iconic retailer simply penned: "After a scorcher of a summer, we're welcoming back sweater season with open arms". The jumper was a smash hit on social media, racking up hundreds of likes and heaps of comments from enamoured shoppers.

Phoebe said: "Omg these jumpers are gorgeous! M&S winning again". A second shopper said: "The prettiest jumpers! They look such good quality too love the colours". Nikki commented: "I was eyeing up these sweaters in store this morning. They're soooo soft and snuggly." Tracie added: "I so love this!!"
