Marks and Spencer shoppers rave about trainers similar to £110 New Balance

Marks and Spencer has got people raving over a pair of £45 leather trainers shoppers claim are similar to a pair of New Balance costing £110. The clothing brand isn't known for its ‘dupes’ but they have received 4.6 star rating for their leather trainers.

The ‘dupe’ shoes are described as having a chunky sole ‘to cushion every step,’ with antibacterial fabric which helps keep the trainer feeling fresh on your feet. The leather used to make the shoe is also responsibly sourced and has a contrasting panel that adds another level of detail, reports MEN.

Unlike the New Balance pair which only come in three colours, M&S offer six different colours in from size 3 to size 8 and they even have a children’s pair in pink for £28.

Another penned: “Really comfortable leather trainers. Am 5 1/2 normally but bought 5 after reading reviews. Spot on, they were comfortable from the start. Bought the blue pair. Love the design and they look great on.”

While a third said: “I was about to buy a pair of New Balance trainers for £70 more when I saw these M&S ones online. They’re a similar style and colour and look really smart. The size is true and they’re really comfortable too. I haven’t always been impressed with m&s trainers but these have impressed me.”

A fourth explained how they were perfect for their trip around China, saying: “Bought these to take on a trip to China which I knew would involve pavement pounding They are very comfortable and needed little or no wearing in Generally I am a size 6 but I sized down for these to a 5.5 and they still feel long around the toe area making my feet look bigger than usual But saying that they are very comfy”
