Marks and Spencer shoppers are eager to snap up a "lush" skirt that's being hailed as "one of the nicest" the company has "ever sold".
Famed British retailer Marks and Spencer has built a loyal fan base across its multiple social media pages, each dedicated to showcasing all the newest fashion, food, accessories and homeware products. Recently, one of the brand's spring coloured skirts caused a stir among Instagram users.
Marks and Spencer staff members, known on the hit social media platform as "insiders", operate their own profiles to share styling tips and outfit ideas featuring the retailer's latest stock drops. Popular M&S insider Sam Briones boasts 16.9K Instagram followers and delighted shoppers with a carousel of images of her modelling M&S' Striped Pleated Midaxi Skirt.

The skirt, which costs £35, features a contrasting pink and white striped print on a pleated fabric. It's cut in a midaxi length with an elasticated waist, and is available in sizes 6-24 in short, regular and long lengths - though some sizes have already sold out.
Captioning the series of photos, Sam penned: "Here’s some I shot earlier…. a little SASS as we head into the weekend. The black / cream colour way of this skirt was a huge hit and this pink version is sure to be the same! Unfortunately certain sizes have gone in the skirt all ready as it’s such a beauty - be sure to check your nearest store! The black top and accessories purposely let the skirt take centre stage!"
As Sam predicted, the skirt was incredibly popular, racking up hundreds of likes and heaps of comments from shoppers. Lucy said: "Just gorgeous". Max said: "Gorgeous and just got my hands on one such a beautiful classic style".
