Marks & Spencer has earned praise for a selection of "beautiful" and "flattering" dresses that are a must-have wardrobe staple for the warmer months.
Shoppers have been impressed by the additions to the retailer's summer range, with three dresses in particular turning heads after M&S showed them off on Instagram. Modelled with flip-flops and straw tote bags, the casual yet stylish outfits will match anything and are ideal for holidays or days out in the sunshine.
M&S fans quickly flocked to the comments section to share their love for the dresses, with one person writing: "Such beautiful pieces". Another shopper remarked: "Very dreamy outfits!"

"Ooh I like the look of these, time for a trip to the shops," a third customer wrote.
And someone else said: "Anyone looking for summer dresses this is the place to go, I was in the Metrocentre M&S yesterday and got a gorgeous dress."
The first dress modelled in the Instagram clip was the Pure Cotton Square Neck Midi Beach Dress, with a strappy design and shirred bodice for staying stylish yet cool and comfortable in the summer weather. Priced at £25, this dress is available in black, bright green or lime, and has an overall rating of 4.2 out of five stars from M&S shoppers.
One person who was a fan of the dress said in their review: "Really pleased with this sundress. Beautiful colour. Fits true to size. Lovely cotton fabric."
And another customer who purchased the outfit in green said: "Love this vibrant green sundress, fits well and is ideal for summer weather."
While the dress is the cheapest of the three featured in the M&S Instagram clip, a small number of shoppers felt that this meant the quality of the dress was lacking, mentioning that they disliked the material in their reviews. One person remarked: "Poor quality, material very thin, had to return it," while someone else said: "Was disappointed with the material, very creased, felt expensive for what it was."
The second outfit is also named as a Pure Cotton Square Neck Midi Beach Dress on the M&S website, although this one sports a different design with short puff sleeves, shirred waist and drawstring neck. This dress comes in either white or blue and is priced at £35, with M&S shoppers giving it a rating of 4.4 out of five stars overall.
"I bought this in blue as I was so drawn to the beautiful colour," one person said in their review. "Looks lovely on and is cool and flattering - great for really hot days."
And someone else wrote: "Really comfy, cool, pretty dress which I won't be restricting to the beach! Not see-through and the fabric reminds me of cheesecloth which doesn't need ironing - result!"
A third impressed shopper commented: "Love this dress. So cool, great for sunny warm days and holidays. Highly recommend. Bought the blue and white. Wish there were more colours."
However, the dress may not be suited to everyone - of the small portion of shoppers who left negative reviews, they gave feedback that the style of the dress didn't fit their frame. "Just not flattering on my body shape," one person who returned it said, while someone else wrote: "The neckline just did not sit right or flatter at all so unfortunately I will be returning it."
The third and final dress in the Instagram clip was the Pure Cotton Embroidered Midaxi Beach Dress, which comes in a bold copper red colour complete with an embroidered bodice and tiered skirt for a more formal summer look. With a price tag of £39.50, the dress only has two reviews from M&S shoppers so far, but both awarded it the full five stars.
One customer branded the garment "stunning", writing: "Gorgeous dress with beautiful low back. In love with the colour and fit."
And the other reviewer said: "Super light breezy dress. The fabric is soft and not transparent. Perfect for holidays."
M&S isn't the only high street favourite that has impressed shoppers with its summer dresses recently. Matalan recently earned high praise from customers after showing off a "beautiful" and "flattering" floral dress on its own Instagram page, an ideal budget-friendly option for holidays with a price tag of just £23.
