M&S shoppers are showering praise upon a budget £19.50 summer dress, which has been dubbed 'flattering' and incredibly 'versatile'. The Marks and Spencer Jersey Dress offers an abundance of occasional suitability, and is said to work equally as well for casual events like picnics and BBQs as it does for holidays or the office.
One fashionista even admits that she wore hers to Royal Ascot. The V-Neck T-Shirt Dress is constructed of a soft and pure cotton fabric, which helps keep the body cool on the warmer days. It's also cut in a regular fit, with cap sleeves and a flattering wide v-neck.
The dress drapes to disguise 'mum tums' as well as lumps and bumps, and can be paired with trainers and sandals for a more casual vibe, or alternatively wedges or heels for dressier occasions.

One four-star reviewer who bought the budget M&S Summer dress to wear for Royal Ascot, wrote: "I was in store looking at print dresses to wear to Ascot. By chance I spotted this in copper and though it is plain, teamed with nude shoes and bag and chunky silver jewellery it looked great.
"I usually buy a 14 and the medium fits well. I note some reviews mention shrinking but as I wash these type of garments by hand don't envisage a problem."
A second shopper, added: "Nice loose fitting dress that is ideal for the hot weather. I'm a 14/16 and bought the large size which is fine. I'm 5' 2" and it comes somewhere between mid-calf and my ankles."
Giving the dress five stars meanwhile, another reviewer, wrote: "Lovely dress ideal for the hot weather, I bought another one in rusty colour."
"Easy to wear black dress which can be dressed up or down. I bought the medium and I am size 12/14 and it is loose without being too big. It is light so will be great for taking on holiday," penned another. Someone else, wrote: "This is an easy to wear cool and comfortable dress. It’s true to size."
"I purchased medium in electric blue. The colour is gorgeous and the dress fits lovely, not too clingy and just the right length for me. The dress is at the right price point. Very pleased, and have had compliments when wearing," said another fashion fan.
Some did comment that the material is on the thinner side, while others said it can crease easily - and needs ironing before wearing.
