Marks and Spencer shoppers are desperate to snap up a "game changer" £4 loaf of sourdough bread after spotting it online.
High street favourite M&S has amassed a dedicated following across its various social media channels. Like many retailers, the brand consistently posts product news to keep shoppers updated on all the latest stock launches they can expect to find in store and online.
Recently, the popular retailer caused a stir on its food Instagram account. To its 280K food loving followers, Marks and Spencer shared a carousel of images showcasing its new Collection Sourdough range.

With winter's arrival imminent, many shoppers are already craving the comfort of crusty loaves of fresh bread. The beloved retailer's range is, according to its website, "made through a traditional 30-hour process for a rich, complex flavour and perfect dark crust".
Captioning the images of the "delicious" range, Marks and Spencer penned: "THIS. IS. A. GAME CHANGER. New in store, our Collection Sourdough has a beautifully crunchy crust, soft centre… and the secret ingredient? Time
"Crafted by third generation bakers in North Wales, each loaf takes 36 hours to make so the bread develops an exquisite flavour and irresistible texture. This is total bread bliss. Visit the in store bakers at your local M&S Food to find out more".
The photos proved popular on the hit social media platform, racking up more than 2,800 likes. Shoppers shared their thoughts in the comments section.
Dr Frankie Jackson-Spence said: "Tried it today! Can confirm delicious!!" Chris Baber simply said: "The best". One shopper said: "Looks very tasty". Fan Beverly commented: "Just delicious".
Sukh tagged a friend and said: "this has got our name all over it". Faye said: "need". Ingrid added: "This is the best sourdough I have tasted in years…!" Other shoppers simply tagged their friends to direct them to the post.
