M&S shoppers have been praising a 'cute' new snack that was recently shared to its Instagram account.
With Chinese New Year taking place this Sunday January 22, many shoppers will be looking to fill their fridge with tasty treats to celebrate the occasion. The popular retailer has launched its new 'Bunny Bao Buns' just in time, as well as a banquet-sized 'Year of the Rabbit' box - which is packed with takeaway favourites.
The bao buns are filled with steamed vegetables in a sticky hoisin plum sauce, and are all plant-based. Advised to make a 'super-cute starter' or snack, shoppers can serve the buns with their favourite dipping sauces and tuck in.

Sharing the Bao Buns to its 292k followers on Instagram, the M&S Food PR page soon racked up plenty of likes and comments on the post In a day, the image showcasing the buns racked up over 5k likes and comments from keen shoppers showing their friends the mouth-watering snack.
The full post read: "Did some-BUNNY say Lunar New Year treats?! Say hello to our SUPER cute Bao Bunnies, perfect for ringing in the Year of the Rabbit this weekend! Filled with steamed vegetables and hoisin plum sauce, these accidentally vegan buns are perfect alongside a selection of our delicious dumplings from our M&S Dim Shop.
"These adorable buns are just the latest addition to our range of fun filled bao, which includes those almost-too-cute-to-eat Panda Buns (yes the ones that broke the internet!) and Unicorn Buns as well as our Halloween 'Boo' bao and Christmas reindeer bao. So many buns to choose from!!"
Among the comments, one shopper said: "I can confirm the Bao Bunnies taste VERY good… I thought they were out for early Easter though, oops!"
A second M&S fan commented: "So cute." A third shopper said: "Omg!" A fourth added: "How amazing do these look? Another bun-tastic creation from M&S!"
Hungry shoppers can also enjoy the 'Year of the Rabbit' box for £11 this weekend, which is described as a 'true feast for two'. The banquet includes crispy sweet & sour chicken, Singapore noodles, chicken in a black bean sauce, egg fried rice and vegetable spring rolls.
