Marks and Spencer's iconic Colin the Caterpillar cake has been at the centre of many birthday celebrations for a huge 32 years.
The caterpillar-shaped cake is made of a chocolate sponge roll, filled with smooth chocolate buttercream and covered in a milk chocolate shell. As you might imagine, M&S says it is "not just any cake..."
While the cake is loved by many, a new version has gone on sale and shoppers are divided on it.

On Wednesday, the high street favourite shared a clip of its new "Yummy Mummy" caterpillar cake. The £12 cake sees Colin coated in an extra layer of white chocolate for a spooky Halloween look.
Captioning the post on Instagram, M&S said: "Our limited-edition, double choc yummy mummy Colin the Caterpillar is here! He’s coated in a layer of Colin’s classic milk chocolate AND a layer of creamy white chocolate – WOW."
Some fans were thrilled with the new item. One shopper said: "Love this", while another said: "No I am obsessed" and a third said: "So cute!!"
But others were not as impressed. One customer said: "Never mess with a classic, if it's not broke etc". A second wrote: "Feel like this would be a bit too sickly". A third said: "Aw it's hiding him, not as cute".
