Marks and Spencer's 'lush' £35 dress shoppers 'would get married in'

Marks and Spencer shoppers have fallen for a "lush" dress after spotting it online, with some fans saying they'd even get married in it.

High street icon Marks and Spencer boasts a legion of followers across its social media pages, where it's able to successfully highlight the latest food, fashion, accessories and homeware products. A recent post to its main Instagram account caused a flurry of excitement among online shoppers.

Some Marks and Spencer staff members, known on the popular social media platform as "insiders", have created their own public pages where they share their outfit ideas and styling tips featuring the retailer's latest stock drops. M&S insider and visual merchandiser Emma had shoppers "obsessed" after sharing images of herself sporting the brand's Pure Cotton Bardot Midi Tiered Beach Dress.

The dress, which costs £35, comes in an on-trend, neutral sand colour and is cut in a midi length with frilled puff sleeves and stylish tiers. It's got a Bardot neckline and comes in sizes 8 to 24.

Sharing one of Emma's images to its 1.9 million followers, Marks and Spencer simply penned: "Boho beach dresses are in, and this one is top tier." The dress was a big hit on Instagram, racking up heaps of likes and comments from shoppers.

Phoebe said: "Omg I’m obsessed with this dress! It’s so lush". Annabelle said: "Such a beaut dress! Great price too."

Another shopper commented: "I would get married in that", adding "simple but effective" as a hashtag. Joy wasn't sure and quipped: "Reminds me of a victorian lampshade". Wendy added: "Love it".
