Marks and Spencer's (M&S') £22.50 Summer trousers are getting rave reviews from fashion fans who say they are 'comfortable' and 'elegant'. The budget M&S trousers are smart enough to wear in the office, but are equally perfect for BBQs and picnics, and are a 'must' for Summer holidays.
The purse-friendly M&S' £22.50 Linen Rich Tapered Trousers have been designed with a flattering tapered leg and a mid-rise elasticated waistband at the back and sides for comfort, and feature an adjustable drawcord which will instantly nip you in at the waist for an hourglass silhouette.
The £22.50 trousers are made from a linen fabric. Because linen absorbs a lot of moisture and dries quickly, it will keep you cool and dry in hot weather.
The budget M&S Summer trousers come in three different lengths - Short/Petite, Regular in Long. They are available in sizes 6 to 22.
Hundreds of M&S customers have given the £22.50 Summer trousers five stars, with some left so impressed, they want a pair in every colour. There are five different colours and designs to choose from - White, Black, Monochrome Print, Navy and Green.
Giving the £22.50 Summer trousers five-stars, one M&S fan said: "Love them, so cool when wearing them and smart looking have now ordered another pair." A second wrote: "Really nice fitting trousers ,you have them in green which l am tempted to get also."
"Lovely quality and cool feeling. Plenty of room in them so easy to wear," said a third. A fourth added: "They fit exactly as they should for petite leg length. The white trouser is not too revealing with nude pants underneath. Nice pockets not bulky!"
Somebody else praised the trousers, writing: "Beautiful fit, very comfortable and fantastic colour. I haven't washed them yet but previous ones washed well." Not realising the trousers come in several different colours, another shopper said: "As the white version of the trousers were sold out, I decided to order the Navy blue ones. I like everything about them - they have kept me cool during the present heatwave and the elasticated waistband can easily be changed by the ties. If M&S make these trousers in other colours at some future date I shall definitely buy more of them as they are so comfortable."
"Great fit, really comfortable and cool for summer," penned another five star reviewer. Somebody else added: "Comfortable and elegant casual summer trousers. Good value for money too."
"Most comfortable summer trousers that I have ever worn!" raved another shopper. "Very happy with the black and white version and got quite a few compliments teamed with a linen mix black waist coat type top," said yet another fan of the Marks and Spencer trousers.
H&M is selling a similar pair of ankle-length linen trousers for £24.99 which come in a variety of vibrant colourways. For something a little more edgy, New Look's Linen Blend Cargo Trousers are £32.99.
