Marks and Spencer seems set to release a new Christmas biscuit tin that doubles up as a nightlight - and it's just £9. The starry night shortbread tin offers a tasty treat and a yuletide scene to keep the little ones happy.
Bargain hunter Carl Brookes shared his festive find on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook. He said: "New Christmas biscuit tin from Marks and Spencer’s for £9 which is also a Santa sleigh night light.
"You get a tray of shortbread and a tray of shortbread cookies."
Other bargain hunters went wild for the find. Alyson Spencer said: "I got one this week, ate the biscuits yesterday, but I do love a nice tin."
Kate Prentice said: "I'm such a Grinch and I love this." While Teresa Tydsley added: "Please M&S stop. I love it but just can't fit anymore stuff in my loft."
Concerns were raised the tins could not be found on the M&S website. But others moved to reassure them the tins had already begun hitting shelves across the UK and Ireland.
Marks and Spencer's website says it offers a range of 'great gift ideas' this Christmas. From 'Percy-tastic' treats to gourmet goodies and light-up keepsakes.
The retailer also offered a starry nights shortbread tin last Christmas. They currently retail at around £19 on auction website eBay.
