Marks and Spencer's £59 bomber jacket that shoppers say is 'perfect for spring'

With warmer days approaching, now is a great time to refresh your wardrobe with new staples. One "lovely" jacket from Marks and Spencer has proven to be quite the hit with shoppers who are wanting to stock up on must-have pieces for spring.

The high street retailer's Padded Bomber Jacket, which is priced at £59, has gone down a storm with fashion fans hailing it as a cover-up that's "perfect for the British weather".

With ruching down the back and sleeves, the M&S jacket is not only ideal for keeping you warm during the spring season, but also wonderfully versatile.

Customers can currently snap up the item in sizes eight to 24 on the Marks and Spencer website.

The zip-up jacket is made with padding to lock in heat, as well as a ribbed neckline and pockets for extra practicality, making it suitable for casual and smart events alike.

Shoppers have been taking to the review section on the M&S website to share their thoughts on the spring cover-up.

Giving it five stars, one person said: "What a great jacket for the price. I bought the navy in a size 10 which is my normal size. It is very roomy and I can get a really thick sweater underneath it.

"It’s warmer than a spring/summer jacket but perfect for British weather."

Another glowing review read: "This is a lovely jacket - it’s warm, good quality and comfortable. It had a retro style which reminds me of jackets I had in years past."

Not all customers were happy with the bomber jacket, though.

One said: "Received this earlier this week and I really wanted to keep it as it’s such a lovely shade of green, but today I’ve finally decided to return it as it’s so thick and bulky".

You can purchase the M&S Collection Padded Bomber Jacket (£59) in black or green at marksandspencer.com.
