Shoppers have been facing rising bills following a steep rise in inflation and food prices over the last year. It's left many of us being forced to be more careful about where we shop.
While many shoppers would consider Marks and Spencer as an upmarket supermarket, the retailer has been making moves that will see some products cheaper to compete with more budget supermarkets.
When grocery shopping, some customers have even found M&S to be cheaper than stores like Aldi and Lidl. The supermarket has now made a major change across all of its food halls lowering the price of some essential items.
M&S has extended its price lock on more than 100 common household items, this includes washing up liquid, rice, coconut milk and soup. The price lock will take place until Summer 2023.
