If you’re keen to bag a bargain at M&S in the Boxing Day sales then you might need to be quick, with industry insiders hinting the high street retailer will start its usual post-Christmas sale as early as Christmas Eve for 2022.
M&S’ Boxing Day sale is usually one of the brand's biggest of the year, with the firm slashing prices on everything from furniture and clothing through to kitchenware and Christmas decorations by up to 50%.
Last year, as a thanks to its hard-working staff, M&S didn’t open any of their stores on Boxing Day, meaning if you wanted a first look at their sale you had to head online to their site .

What’s more, their Boxing Day sale started early - as it’s going to this year - meaning to get the best bargains you needed to look before the traditional December 26 start of the sales.

If you're an M&S Sparks card member you may find you get additional stackable discounts on any sale spend, so make sure you've linked your card with your online shopping account if you're shopping online or don’t forget to scan it in store if you're braving the cold to go shopping in person.

I’ve noticed their three and five piece M&S Chef pan sets appear in several colourways reduced by up to 50% in 2021, 2020 and 2019 sales and if you’re looking to pick up a kitchen staple on a budget it’s a great option. I picked up the three-piece hard anodised pan set half price in the sale in 2019 and despite using them almost daily since then they’re still pleasingly (and surprisingly) pristine three Christmases on.
The five-piece version has also regularly been reduced, while if prepping Christmas dinner has made you realise your roasting tins have seen better days they’re usually discounted alongside sturdy baking trays and other ovenware making it a great time to upgrade or replace.

While for many M&S is a classic name in its own right, in recent years it has expanded its ranges across fashion, beauty and elsewhere with plenty of brand name options.
Don’t forget to check for discounts across brands in the sale - whether you’ve got your eye on a Nobody’s Child dress for work, White Stuff loungewear or a new Hype backpack you could bag a bargain on M&S cheaper than the sales on any of the brands’ own sites or other retailers who might stock then like John Lewis or Debenhams .
