As the cost of living crisis worsens, many shoppers are looking for guidance on how to save and get the most out of their money.
Many of us are worrying about the cost of buying Christmas presents this year, with two pay days to go, one expert has revealed handy advice.
The Money Saving Expert, Martin Lewis, recommends the Marks and Spencer €45 beauty advent calendar as a way of saving hundreds on Christmas presents.

Martin Lewis advises buying one of the calendars, which contain over twenty full size beauty products that work out much cheaper than their usual price.
The Radiance Brightening Dark Circle Eye Cream 15ml is usually €60, and is included in the calendar.
Lewis recommends splitting up each product into separate Christmas presents for your friends and family.
The calendar is back in stock, and Irish Shoppers who spend €35 on the M&S website on clothing, homeware, or beauty, can get the advent calendar for €45 instead of €400, so it's well worth doing.
In an episode of the Martin Lewis Money Show Live in 2021, the consumer champion told viewers: “This is a way that you can bag beauty products at a fraction of the normal cost and they often sell out early.”
He continued: "This is the big one. I reckon it’s worth around €230, costs you €40, but you can only get it if you spend €30 on non-food stuff in M&S. The fact you have to spend €30, you may as well do that anyway because even for €70 if you want the stuff in it, it’s worth it."
This year’s beauty advent calendar contains nine skincare products, three bath and body, three makeup, two nail, two fragrance and six haircare products. The calendar features designer names such as L'Occitane, Clinique and REN.
