Mark Zuckerberg’s £230 million superyacht spotted sailing around Scottish islands

A £230 MILLION superyacht owned by billionaire Mark Zuckerberg has been spotted sailing around the north of Scotland.

Locals in the Western Isles spotted the vessel, named Launchpad, on Sunday night as the Facebook and Instagram owner is reportedly on a sightseeing tour through Skye, the Hebrides, Ullapool, Orkney and Shetland

The American billionaire’s boat is reportedly now heading in the direction of Norway as it continues its journey along the North Sea after departing on its voyage from a Portuguese port in Horta.

Zuckerberg purchased the luxury superyacht at the reported price of $300 million last year after his 40th birthday and is reportedly one of the most expensive yachts in the world.

The social media mogul’s vessel has been described as a “floating fortress” by boating enthusiasts and measures at around 387 feet.

The interior of the superyacht consists of 12 staterooms for guests, along with a cinema, gym and other luxuries which are maintained by a full crew.

It is unclear how long Zuckerberg’s vessel stayed in Scottish waters, but residents of the Highlands and Islands have reportedly documented the superyacht sailing in the region last week.
