SEATTLE - With less than two months to go before the 48th edition of the CONMEBOL Copa América kicks off, fans have started to plan and purchase their trips all around the United States for the continent's most important international competition.

The United States will host the 16-team, 32-match tournament for the second time in its history (2016) and fans haven't lost any time trying to secure their tickets for any of the matches. As expected, the game with the highest demand is the final on July 14 to be played at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium, a venue that can hold more than 65,000 people.

Ever since its renovation in 2015, Hard Rock Stadium has hosted a large array of sporting events such as Super Bowls, Formula 1 grand pix and tennis tournaments. This year, it will be the home of three Copa América games, including two group stage matches (Argentina vs Peru and Uruguay vs Panama) and the final on July 14.

But even though tickets will go on sale to the general public starting on May 1, some third-party companies such as Stubhub and and Vivid Seats have made tickets available through their websites.

The cheapest ticket for the final in Stubhub's website starts at $451 before fees and taxes. On average, a person interested in attending the grand finale will have to spend around $500 to get in.

The ticket exchange and resale company Vivid Seats offers a cheaper option for fans wanting to secure their Copa América final tickets, with seats starting at $429 before fees and taxes.

Despite tickets prices being so high two months before the start of the tournament, they could raise their price exponentially if some of the favorites, such as Lionel Messi's Argentina or Neymar's Brazil, reach the final.

According to Draft Kings, Argentina (+175) and Brazil (+225) are the favorites to win the tournament.

This change in pricing can be attributed to Messi himself since his arrival to Major League Soccer created a revolution in American soccer. According to reporting from Forbes, Inter Miami's average home game ticket price jumped from $152 to $935, a 515% increase to a Messi-less Inter Miami.

The season ticket holders also saw a rise in the price they had to pay after Messi arrived to Inter Miami, with the average price of a season ticket going from $485 to $884 last season.

But if you are not willing to shell out a big chunk of your paycheck, fans still have an opportunity to purchase tickets directly from Ticketmaster thanks to exclusive partnerships. Customers of Mastercard/Citi, official sponsors of the 2024 CONMEBOL Copa América, will be able to access an exclusive inventory to purchase tickets for all 32 matches.

The next round of presale tickets will open on Wednesday, April 24 at 10:00 am EDT and will be available until April 30, a day prior the event opens their general public sale.
