Mark Wright shows off £3.5m dream home after 'physically and mentally tough' two years

Mark Wright has admitted the build of his and wife Michelle Keegan's £3.5million Essex mansion has been 'mentally and physically' tough as it nears completion.

The TV and radio presenter, 35, took to Instagram on Thursday to show off the huge progress made to the sprawling home, while detailing he was hit by the pressure of creating it from the ground up.

Counting down the days until he can move in, Mark updated followers on a designated Instagram account @wrightyhome.

He penned: "A process that has been extremely mentally and physically tough at times but one that is so rewarding."

The former TOWIE star wrote the update embedded on angled shot of the home's stunning exterior which showed the grand entrance typical of a Georgian style mansion.

The shot teased a huge driveway and the hallway, which will have ample space for a double sided sweeping staircase.

A huge window gives a glimpse into the heart of the home, which is illuminated with an elaborate chandelier.

He added: "On to the final stages now and can't wait for you to see it all come together."

He also shared a shot of the back of the house lit up before doing a Instagram Story adding: "We're here at the house tonight, it's a little bit dark we haven't had any outdoor lighting. We are doing this home alone style.

"Absolutely buzzing for this moment to see this house come alive at night for the first time."

As Mark spoke, the lights began to be turned on with sections of the incredible home illuminated.

He gushed: "We are so so happy. The house looks absolutely beautiful. I'm so excited."

And judging by the exterior the interior will be just as incredible from shot released so far including a luxurious spa bathroom to a cinema room , along with a fully-equipped home gym.

The home also boasts a master suite with huge walk-in wardrobes and beautiful country views, and a bar.

Meanwhile, the extensive outdoor space includes an outdoor swimming pool and huge terrace with a fire pit, which will be perfect for entertaining.

The Brassic actress, who has been busy filming in Australia, and Mark purchased the original property for £1.3million and had planning permission granted in July 2020.
