His brother Josh and his wife Hollie welcomed a baby boy into the world last week four weeks early. The new parents shared the news on social media before Mark shared his own post announcing his nephew's arrival.
Speaking about the moment he found out he'd become an uncle, Mark said: "We were laying in bed and we got the news in a Whatsapp group which is the beauty of having social media, and my brother said, 'He’s here!'
"Me and Michelle ran up to my dad in his bed, and we were like, 'Can you believe it?'" - And his dad had quite the reaction.
"He was buzzing, he was like, 'Got to go downstairs and pop a bottle. I’ve done it with all you kids when you were born, so got to do it again.'
"I was like, 'Well dad, it's not quite the same, we’re your children, this is your grandchild.
"'But if you want to start a new tradition, you’ll be doing it another however many times, opening bottles of champagne at 12:55am!'"
Back in November Mark and Michelle showed fans around their incredible mansion before the 'last push' to get it completed. It came after fans were left in awe of the 'stunning' views the couple will be waking up to when they finally move in.
In their latest update posted on their 'Wrighty Home' Instagram account, Mark gave fans a glimpse of what will be their master bedroom at their new Essex home which is worth a reported £3.5 million.
In the clip, Mark says: "I promised I would give you a little update on the house..." as he went on to show and talk about the textured wallpaper the couple had opted for throughout before approaching a large floor-to-ceiling door which had been finished with bold black woodwork which led to the boudoir.
The 35-year-old foes on to show the sliding sash wardrobes which offers a view of their impressive garden.
Mark and Michelle tied the knot six years ago in a stunning ceremony at St Mary's Church in Bury St Edmonds. The couple had met three years earlier in Dubai.
At the start of February, Mark told the Mirror that they were a "few weeks away, hopefully" from moving into the property after two years of work.
"It's been a stressful but fun time. I'm excited to move in and live in the comforts we've worked so hard to get," he added.
Speaking about their home life, Mark also said: "Our Chihuahua, Pip, thinks she rules the roost in the current house. It does make us laugh, but the minute we move in to the new place she will feel like it's hers, like the queen of the palace.
"They are literally our children. We go on holiday and we don't miss England or home. Michelle and I miss them."
