Mark Wright proudly shows off lavish mega-mansion as building nears completion

Mark Wright has given his fans a tour around his mega-mansion to share the latest updates.

The 34-year-old reality star and presenter has been building his dream home with wife Michelle Keegan, and it is looking like the home of dreams.

Their massive new pad is situated in the Essex countryside, and they began work in 2020 after being given permission to demolish the mock Tudor-house.

Taking to social media in recent days, Mark showed off the exciting progress as he took a visit to the mansion with his brother-in-law William Lee-Kemp.

Recording the workmen who were busy in the front garden, he said: "We're building a little sleeper wall along here to have plant beds up against it.

"Landscape fully in flow now!"

Mark then showed off the transformation in their bedroom, claiming it is one of his "favourite rooms" in the house.

"The master suite, finally getting done. Sometimes you have to wait for the best," he explained.

Mark added: "We're getting the tiling ready here because this is going to be a steam room sauna, so when I'm getting ready for a Saturday night, I'll be chilling there, getting a little sweat on... waiting for Michelle to get ready most probably."

At the start of 2020, the couple revealed that they were demolishing the £1.3million farmhouse they purchased in October 2019 in order to rebuild a brand new vision.

Last month, the couple - who have been married since 2015 - were in the middle of picking paint colours for their new abode, according to Heart Radio presenter Mark.

The TV personality also asked the couple's fans for advice on the best fitted wardrobes ahead of applying the "finishing touches" to their brand new gaff.

"Getting to the finishing stages of the house and we are starting to look at fitted wardrobes," the star captioned multiple pictures of clothing rails and wardrobes on their Instagram account, wrightyhome.

"We need some help with ideas, what one do you like most 1-5?"

Despite the renovation being a passion project for the couple, Mark has revealed the huge commitment to building his own home hasn't been without it's stresses.

Updating Entertainment Daily about the house's progress earlier this year, the Essex native said: "It’s coming on well. It’s a stressful time. I’m so into it.

"Where we’re building it from scratch, I want it to be our dream home and our forever home."
