Mark Wright orders first takeaway to new £3.5million mansion with Michelle Keegan

Mark Wright has confirmed that he and his wife Michelle Keegan have finally moved into their new Essex mansion, three years after purchasing the mega-pad. The TV and radio presenter and former The Only Way Is Essex star has showed that he's settling in nicely as he shared a clip of himself answering the door to a takeaway delivery.

Mark and his former Coronation Street actress wife have been keeping fans up to date on the progress of their dream home on the dedicated Instagram account @wrightyhome which has 450,000 followers. The couple, who married in 2015, bought their stunning mock-Tudor style house in Essex back in October 2019 and began knocking it down in 2020 to rebuild their own luxury mansion, reportedly worth around £3.5 million.

Mark greeted their first takeaway on Saturday night- a range of pizzas with various toppings - with enthusiasm. In a clip shared on his Instagram he answered the door saying: "First pizza delivery for the new house."

Sharing the mouth-watering moment with fans he panned his camera across the pizzas and asked: "Someone said cheat day?" The next day Michelle, from Stockport, documented going for a Sunday pub lunch as she posted a snap of herself waiting for her food in a pretty pastel yellow polo-neck top.

Their home Instagram account invites: "Follow us while we create our dream home." Former Crawley Town footballer Mark also Instagrammed a snap of himself mowing the lawn topless. "This time last week I was crossing the line. Now I’m making the lines. How my Sundays have changed."

This summer the account also featured a stunning photo of the sun setting over their dream home. "The sky over the house the other night. Genuinely not a single filter used!! Might frame it as artwork for the house??" said the caption."

sianelisha92 replied: "It’s giving me Hampton vibes." And jo8337 said: "Reminds me of The Big House at Kellermans."

On the house project Instagram account the couple have asked fans for their advice. In January Michelle, who plays Erin Croft in Sky comedy drama Brassic, and her hubby revealed that they were adding a glass-walled sauna to their new home.

"Looking for bespoke glass for our sauna and steam and master shower…. Do you think smoked glass? Bronze? Or just clear?" they asked. "ny glass company’s (sic) that can do bespoke like this please let us know. Inbox us. Thanks."

They delighted fans in November when took fans on a tour around the mansion, telling their followers: "It’s getting there…. 1 last push!!" In February they posted a photo of Michelle decision-making over marble for the house and the previous month they asked for fans' help picking a gate.
