Mark Wright has shared a gushing message about his wife Michelle Keegan in a rare public display of affection. The couple, who have been married for eight years this month, very rarely discuss their marriage or post about one another on social media.
But former The Only Way is Essex star Mark decided to change that on Sunday (May 14) as she championed his wife's new TV show. Michelle, who shot to game playing Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street, returned to the small screen in Ten Pound Poms.
The six-part series, which was filmed in Australia last year, is the new original drama series created by BAFTA-winning Danny Brocklehurst, the brains behind Sky Comedy Brassic and BBC drama Ordinary Lies and produced by Eleven, the team behind the award-winning Sex Education.

It follows a group of Brits as they leave dreary post-war Britain in 1956 to embark on a life-altering adventure on the other side of the world. For only a tenner, they have been promised a better house, better job prospects and a better quality of life by the sea in sun-soaked Australia.
But life down under isn’t exactly the idyllic dream the new arrivals have been promised. In thee series, which aired for the first time on BBC One on Sunday night before the whole series was released on BBC iPlayer, sees Micehlle play Kate, a young nurse who arrives without her fiancé and will do whatever it takes to try and rewrite her devastating past.
Ahead of the first episode airing, Mark took to Instagram with a snap of the pair beaming for the camera. "Here we are, back in July 2022 in Sydney Australia, where this incredibly, talented, hard working special little wife of mine spent 5 months last year working her but off, filming her new show Ten Pound Poms!!" the 36-year-old typed.
He added alongside the image, which showed them near the beach with Michelle covered up in a black bomber jacket with some dark shades across her eyes: "Tonight we finally get to see it on our screens and I’m so bloody excited and proud. 9pm tonight @bbcone."
Michelle, 35, was quick to respond to the post, simply replying with a string of red heart emojis in the comments section. She also took to her own Instagram page to give her fans an insight on filming for the series. "A few behind the scenes pics ahead of tonight’s show," she said.
And fans were clearly loving the series with many having already binge watched it. @misunderstood300983 said: "Already binged watched. What a brilliant series. Absolutely loved you as Kate." @ish_bakes wrote: "Watched it back to back loved it. Heartbreaking at times … open for a second series ??!"
@sarahmcclurg55 commented: "Finished the whole lot today loved it. Hope for a season 2." @janer01179 posted: "Also binged watched- bloody loved it @michkeegan my godparents went across in the 60’s." @rachelfaith83 added: "Watched all 6 episodes... loved it."
Meanwhile, earlier on Sunday, Mark was seen cuddling up to another major TV star. The TV and radio presenter was seen posing for a snap with This Morning host Alison Hammond who had headed to Essex hotspot Sheesh.
Posing outside the restaurant together, Alison looked stunning in a purple and black dress which she paired with some white trainers while Mark cut a casual figure in a long-sleeved black tee and matching trousers. "Look who I spotted at @sheesh_uk," Alison typed on her Instagram Story. "It's only my @wrighty_"
Mark then reposted the image to his own Instagram Story and said: "What a few days we've had smile," hinting that the pair have been filming together with the inclusion of a video camera emoji.
