Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan show off huge tree as they prepare for first Christmas in £3.5m mansion

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are preparing for their first Christmas in their brand new home as they've shared a glimpse of their lavish decorations with fans. The couple finally moved into their huge, custom-built Essex mansion in September this year after two years of extensive renovation work.

The former Only Way Is Essex star and Coronation Street actress bought their mock-Tudor style house back in October 2019 and began knocking it down in July 2020 to rebuild their very own luxury, Georgian-style mansion. The stunning abode is now said to be worth a whopping £3.5 million as it comes complete with a giant outdoor swimming pool, fully equipped gym and spa.

The celebrity pair, who married in 2015, have been keeping fans up to date with their home renovation journey on their dedicated Instagram account @wrightyhome, which has now amassed more than 465,000 followers.

According to OK!, Mark and Michelle's completed home now has five bedrooms, three dressing rooms, a state-of-the-art gym, an in-house spa and sauna, an outdoor pool and even a pool house, along with a beautifully manicured garden.

The couple have given their followers small glimpses of the interior in their home which features neutral white and beige tones.

In November Mark and Michelle showed off their completed dining room with an eight seater table, wall panelling and a modern style chandelier.

In the most recent update the couple have now put up some extravagant Christmas decorations as they mark their first festive period in their new home.

Sharing a video to their Instagram page with Michael Bublé's It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas soundtrack playing, the pair showed off their huge Christmas tree that stands tall in their entrance hall and a gorgeous garland that hangs over their front door.

The couple wrote: "Christmas 2022 has begun the Wright household @elementshomegarden smashed it again x."

And fans were quick to praise the pair for their stunning festive decorations.

@rigdenn2802 commented: "I wish I could have this in my house! Stunning as always!! Enjoy your first Christmas in your beautiful new home."
