Mark Feehily has thanked fans and his bandmates for their support as he remains in hospital with ongoing health issues.
The Westlife star previously reported he was set to undergo surgery that would require considerable recovery over the summer. The band is currently touring internationally but Mark's health concerns have ruled him out from participating in the gigs.
He thanked fans for their ongoing support on Instagram from his hospital bed. Westlife recently performed in Sweden and Denmark to packed crowds.

The 43-year old wrote: "Sweden and Denmark I'm so grateful to you all for your understanding and so happy to see you all had such good fun at the gigs. I will see you next time and until then I will continue to cherish the memories we've created in both beautiful countries since all the way back in 1997!"
He also acknowledged his bandmates in the post and described the group as a "brotherhood." The star recently celebrated his birthday while in hospital, with Kian Egan wishing him well online.
Mark's health also took a turn back in December when he was hospitalised with a bout of pneumonia. His illness meant he was absent from the band's performance at Dublin's New Year's Eve Festival.
