The brother and son of Mark Duggan are accused of being part of a mass brawl in Selfridges in which two people were stabbed.

Marlon Duggan, 37, and his nephew Kemani, 20, are among seven men charged over the incident at the world-famous department store on Oxford Street on May 8 last year.

They all face a charge of violent disorder after the incident, which played out in front of shocked Selfridges shoppers and was caught on camera with clips posted online.

Kemani Duggan, whose father was shot dead by police in an incident that sparked the 2011 riots, is a well-known rapper, performing under the name Bandokay.

Another member of his rap collective, 19-year-old Andre Deer, is also accused of involvement in the Selfridges incident.

The Duggans and Deer appeared at Southwark crown court on Monday alongside Maliq Knox-Hooke-Campbell, 21, Javani Best, 22, Ryheem Lindsay, 19, and Bryan Carvalho, 21.

Carvalho and Lindsey are accused of stabbing each other during the same incident, and both now face wounding with intent charges.

Judge David Tomlinson agreed for all the defendants to be join on the same indictment as the case progresses to trial.

Marlon Duggan, Knox-Hooke-Campbell, and Best, all from Tottenham, Kemani Duggan, from Highbury, Lindsay, from Newington Green, Carvalho, from Bounds Green, and Deer, from Borehamwood, are all charged with violent disorder.

Lindsay and Carvalho are charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

A trial, which is expected to last at least three weeks, has been provisionally set for May 16.
