An X thread on the rewards of the childless lifestyle has gone viral in a big way.
The September 4 thread, retweeted by conservative commentator Matt Walsh the next day, shows a TikTok video of a young, single 29-year-old woman speaking highly of her "sleeping in until 10:15" after rolling in late the night before after Beyoncé concert “a tad hungover." The woman said she was not worried about “not being further along in having kids” and generally celebrating her single lifestyle on a typical Saturday morning.
DON'T MISS: Mark Cuban on effective leadership
The X tweet was seen by a whopping 28.3 million people as of September 5.
As usual, commentators weighed in with their hot takes on the “parent vs. childless” lifestyle debate. The debate heated up with billionaire Shark Tank star and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, who reacted to comments on the video from Walsh and Stephen Miller, a senior advisor to former President Trump.

Miller got the ball rolling with a query to Cuban on the post and the childless lifestyle versus having kids.
“You have a large following,” Miller tweeted to Cuban. “People listen to your advice. What would you say is a more fulfilling path for adults: starting a family, or sleeping late and watching TV? What advice would you give to someone who suggests they wish to be childless so they can stream more shows?”

Cuban turned things up a notch in his reply.
“Thanks for asking Stephen,” he said.
1. I wouldn't give her advice unless she asked.
2. After looking at the comments to her posts, I would thank her for offering a place for people who can relate to her, to engage and have a conversation. She replies to the comments and based on that, people seem to appreciate it
3. From a business perspective, I would tell her that the Wellness Space is crowded but if she does this in addition to her job, she might be able to build a nice business.
4. As far as a family. I would tell her to do whatever she thinks is best for her. It's none of my f#$%$! business.”
5. If I had you both in a room, I would point at her and thank her for trying to bring joy to others and I would point at you and ask what happened that causes you to hate so much. Seriously Stephen. Why so much hate from you?”
Cuban also called out Walsh, who retweeted the post to his 1.2 million followers, and told Cuban, “I used to look up to you Mark Cuban until you sold out to the woke mob.”
“First, who is in charge of the woke mob Matt?, Cuban replied. “I'm just curious. Who runs that mob? I have no idea. You obviously know?”
A snapshot analysis of the thread showed most tweeters siding with the childless TikTok commentator and with Cuban, with one person noting, “I have to agree why is wanting to watch TV and just be yourself WOKE?”
Either way, the culture wars rage on – with an iconic media billionaire right in the middle of it.
