Police have launched a manhunt for the husband of a woman who has been murdered in Leeds.
West Yorkshire Police have named Eileen Barrott, 50, as the victim, after emergency services were called at 6.31pm to Naburn Fold, Whinmoor, where a woman was found with serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Now, WYP have named and pictured her husband as Mark Barrott, 54, in a rare public appeal for information and to track him down. The public are being warned not to approach him but to call 999 if you see him.
Mr Barrott was pictured leaving Leeds railway station for Scotland by train at 1pm yesterday and he was captured on CCTV.

Police are treating Mrs Barrot's death as murder and they have released pictures of Mr Barrott at the train station.
The 54-year-old arrived at Edinburgh Waverley station at 4pm.
Officers are also appealing to trace Mr Barrott’s car – a silver Toyota Avensis, registration FJ51 ZHB - which is still believed to be in Leeds.
Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector Vanessa Rolfe said: “We urgently need to speak to Mark Barrott in connection with the investigation, and we are keen to hear from anyone who has seen him or who has any information that could assist in tracing him.
“He was last known to be at Edinburgh Waverley station at 4pm yesterday and we would like hear from anyone who saw him then or since, or who can assist in establishing his current whereabouts.
“We would advise members of the public not to approach him but to contact the police immediately via 999 if they do see him.”
