Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews posted a message on Instagram about his feelings on the team’s loss to the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round.
Andrews fumbled after catching a pass in the fourth quarter and was unable to catch a two-point conversion later in the quarter that would have likely forced overtime.
While there were plenty of cruel comments directed toward the tight end on social media, the #BillsMafia stepped up and has raised more than $95,000 through a GoFundMe to benefit the juvenile diabetes foundation that Andrews supports.
“Even though the shock and disappointment are unlike anything I’ve felt before, I refuse to let the situation define me. I promise that this adversity will only make me stronger and fuel us as we move forward,” is part of what Andrews wrote.
