Mark Allen delivered a superb five-cushion escape on his way to securing a place in the last 32 of the British Open.
Allen, 36, is currently 14th in the world rankings, and roared past Li Hang with a 4-1 victory in Milton Keynes to set up a clash with Gary Wilson.
The Northern Irishman faced a tricky escape shot during the encounter but received a round of applause after he managed to hit five cushions before making contact with the yellow.
His attempt was lauded on social media with one Twitter user branding it 'the shot of the season' and Allen himself admitted he was delighted with his effort.
The Pistol posted a clip of the shot, adding: "Another decent performance today and not often my highlight is an escape from a snooker."
Allen bowed to the spectators inside the Marshall Arena, much to the humour of fellow player Shaun Murphy, who wrote: "Snooker escape 10/10. Bow to audience 2/10."
But Allen had the last laugh as he took aim at Murphy's first round exit, posting: "Can you show me how to do it better in round 3? Thanks."
Allen will now take on Murphy's victor Gary Wilson on Thursday as he attempts to make the last 16 of the competition.
Judd Trump breezed through to the third round as he remains favourite for the competition following Ronnie O'Sullivan's shock exit.
The World No.2 beat Dean Young 4-0 will now face Chinese player Xu Si in the next round.
Ding Junhui and Yan Bingtao also secured their places in the last 32 in Milton Keynes with comprehensive victories.
