Marina Granovskaia told to hijack Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe plan in shock Chelsea transfer

Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid seems nailed on, right?

We already know that Los Blancos are preparing a mega contract offer to his representatives as they aim to tie up a free transfer this summer with Eden Hazard expected to depart to free up money on the wage bill.

But, should it be as plain sailing as this for arguably the best player in the world?

That's where Chelsea step in and Marina Granovskaia now has the chance to disrupt these plans that would see the Frenchman move to Spain in a move he apparently wants.

First off, not offering Hazard a way back in west London would mean one less suitor for a player who has flopped massively since leaving the Premier League for La Liga back in 2019.

Real not being able to offload the Belgian would mean a delay in being able to try and afford the PSG star but alternatively, Granovskaia could intervene in a different way to excite the Blues fans but also to appease Thomas Tuchel.

The European Champions have suffered in an attacking sense since Romelu Lukaku came in last summer, with the most recent draw against Brighton and the defeat against Man City all but ending their Premier League title chances.

"We had not enough chances for the ball wins, the movements, the opportunities that we could have had. We could have had many more chances if we played with better timing and precision. It is simply like this," Tuchel said after the loss to Pep Guardiola's side in gameweek 22.

"The performance in the first half in the opponents' half, we had eight or nine transition chances and out of them, we didn’t have a touch in the box. That’s what I’m critical about.

"That you miss chances, there is no problem in that. Everybody wants to score from every big chance and, of course, you don’t get a lot in top games. But efficiency, you need a bit of luck and composure.

"We could have had much more chances, that’s what I’m critical about. The ball losses were too early and we were too poor in decision making and timing. That was not on the level that we need on this kind of level of football match."

Would the 23-year-old French sensation solve this said 'efficiency' issue in the Blues frontline?

Quite possibly so and his ruthless efficiency as demonstrated by the 27 goal contributions collated together in all competitions for Mauricio Pochettino's side this season highlights this point.

On top of this, as per FBref.com, his xG rate per 90 minutes of 0.68 is currently the best in Ligue 1 this season and that type of sharpness in a faltering attack would work well for Tuchel, who knows all too well about the player in question from their time together in the French capital.

Therefore, it's no wonder to see former Chelsea player Frank Leboeuf recommend to the Blues hierarchy the one attacking signing that would help close the gap at the top of the table to Manchester City.

Leboeuf said on ESPN FC's Extra Time programme: "Kylian Mbappe. The guy is free next summer and when I see the players up front, obviously Kylian Mbappe would make a huge difference for Chelsea, yeah."

Chelsea are already linked to the next coming of Mbappe in the form of Hugo Ekitike but signing the original version will be some task that gives off mission impossible vibes.
