Marilyn Monroe fan spends £42,000 on surgery in quest to look like Hollywood legend

A woman has spent £42,000 on plastic surgery to look like the star from the Golden Age of Hollywood Marilyn Monroe.

Serena Smith, from California, has already spent thousands on a boob job, nose job and fillers.

She's also recently forked out £13,000 on a Brazilian Butt Lift surgery.

Serena first went under the knife at 18 and says she's far from finished with getting cosmetic work done.

In her first operation, she got a boob job costing £6,500 and went from a 32A and 32DD.

However, she says this hasn't deterred her from getting more procedures.

Serena told the MailOnline: "Once you are all healed you forget the recovery process, but at the time you feel terrible.
