FORMER Celtic flop Marian Shved is a major doubt for a Champions League return to Parkhead tomorrow after suffering an injury setback.
The Shakhtar Donetsk winger was the hero of their opening game in the group when he scored a double in an impressive 4-1 away win in Germany against RB Leipzig.
But he is one of three players who missed training ahead of Shakhtar's departure from their training base of Rzeszow in Poland to Glasgow.
Defender Yukhym Konoplya and midfielder Oleh Ocheretko are also rated as doubts for the showdown in Glasgow tomorrow.
Shved hasn't featured for Shakhtar since their 2-1 defeat at the Bernabeu to Real Madrid earlier this month. He previously suffered a thigh strain in a friendly match against Radomyak in Poland.
The 25-year-old made just three appearances for Celtic after a £2 million move as one of Brendan Rodgers' last signings in January, 2019 before moving to Belgians Mechelen where he initially impressed.
But he made clear he wanted to return to Ukraine and made an immediate impact in the Champions League with his double in Germany. He also had a goal disallowed against Celtic in the 1-1 draw in Warsaw.
But he faces a race against time to get himself fit for a return to Glasgow.
