Former Celtic winger Marian Shved could potentially meet with his former club this autumn as Shakhtar Donetsk eye up a potential move.
During his two years in Glasgow, he only made one appearance and failed to make an impact on senior proceedings after arriving with some hype behind him. He moved over to Belgian club Mechelen last year and his valuation is said to be around €2M. Football24 are reporting that Shakhtar could make a move for Celtic's forgotten man.
The club in his homeland are in the Champions League group stages in Pot 3, so could face Celtic when the tournament kicks off this September and the draw will be completed in August. Shved registered three goals and three assists in 35 appearances last season. Shved started his career at Lviv and spent time at Sevilla Atletico before his 2019 move to Parkhead, joining his former club and then on to his Belgian adventure.
