Mariah Carey has made history with her song All I Want For Christmas Is You, as she dominates the December music charts once again.
The 52-year-old 'Queen of Christmas' broke a Billboard record as her iconic Christmas song returned to the top of the charts, just days after reaching the top spot in the UK for the second time ever.
Mariah's holiday hit has now become the first song to have reached number one on Billboard's Hot 100 at four different times and it's spent a total of nine weeks at the top spot.
All I Want For Christmas Is You originally topped the Hot 100 in 2019 and has done so every year since.
Mariah released the festive jingle back in 1994, but it failed to become a Number One hit in the US until three years ago.
The song originally featured on the singer's Christmas album, with the idea coming from her record company.
"Okay, so the idea of me doing a Christmas album at all came from the record company. It was very early in my career, and I thought it was a little early for me to be doing that, but I was like, 'Well, I love Christmas'.
"I had some very sad Christmases as a child, but I always try to find the bright light there," she said in an interview with W magazine.
Mariah will be spending the holidays with her beau Bryan Tanka and her twins Moroccan and Monroe.
She's enjoyed her low-key romance with Bryan since 2016 and the pair plan to have a 'chilled out' Christmas at home with food and family.
"It is such a busy time of the year for me, but I try to have a few days where we just spend time at home, relax, decorate, and cook some of our favourite holiday dishes," she explained.
Mariah told E!: "We also love travelling to Aspen, which truly feels like a winter wonderland. The kids hit the slopes, and play in the snow, it's a kind of festive experience that we can't get at home."
Her 11-year-old twins, shared with ex-husband Nick Cannon, will reportedly have their Xmas lists ready and waiting in their 'excitement' for Christmas.
"I want them to have everything they want. I want them to have everything I couldn't and know they can be whoever they choose to be," she explained.
