NEW YORK — Mariah Carey has gifts to give this holiday season.
The five-time Grammy Award-winning pop superstar on Monday announced two Christmas concerts, one in New York City and the other in Toronto.
“It’s almost time NEW YORK + TORONTO!! Come celebrate Christmas with me this December!” she shared on social media.
“lil’ excited lil’ excited to be back on stage and get festive with everybody!! Tickets on sale 10/28 at 10am on ticketmaster.com,” Carey added.
Described by promoter Live Nation as a revue, the first of the two “Merry Christmas To All!” shows will be performed at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto Dec. 11 followed two days later at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 13.
This singer/songwriter recently announced that her new Christmas book “The Christmas Princess” will be released Nov. 1.
The yuletide-themed concerts are perfectly timed for when Carey’s ubiquitous holiday song, “All I Want for Christmas” begins blasting on airwaves everywhere. Co-written with Walter Afanasieff, the song has topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts for the last four years and is the first holiday song to sell more than 10 million copies in the U.S.
