Hollywood star Margot Robbie has admitted that she used to be "kinda goth" in a stark contrast to the image fans know her for.
The bombshell blonde actress confessed that she didn't always favour her current look - and that she used to cut her hair off with razor blades and dye it black.
Margot, 32, also revealed that she still loves heavy metal music even now after growing out of her goth stage as she chatted to UK chat show host Graham Norton.
While Margot appeared to want to play down the lengths of her goth phase to Graham on his hit BBC chat show.
She explained: "I wouldn't say it was full goth, but very emo."
Australian star Margot was then asked about her taste in music by fellow guest on the show and iconic fellow actress Cate Blanchett who asked her if anyone "really" likes heavy metal.
Answering the question she responded: "I genuinely liked it and still do."
Megan - who rose to fame as Donna Friedman in Aussie soap Neighbours - then discussed how she would attend Slipknot concerts even when she was starring in the show and that fans would regularly approach her at the gigs.
She said: "There's a strong cross-section between Slipknot and Neighbours fans - I never had more people come up to me than when I was at a Slipknot concert.
"They were worried about the characters, and would ask if so-and-so's baby was doing okay - they were genuinely invested in both Slipknot and Neighbours."
Margot's starring role as Barbie in Greta Gerwig's 'Barbie' movie is a far cry from the goth look as she embraces bubblegum blonde to the max.
She stars as the iconic toy doll brought to life alongside Rylan Gosling who embodies Barbie'sfamous boyfriend Ken.
Will Ferrell, Simu Liu, America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Ncuti Gatwa and Emma Mackey also star in the highly anticipated movie which is slated for release later in 2023.
Margot is currently starring alongside Brad Pitt in new movie Babylon, which is set in Hollywood in the 1920s 'golden age' of the Los Angeles district.
The movie premiered in the UK earlier this week were Margot spoke of her love for London - and it's transport system - on the red carpet .
Margot said: “I actually have two Oyster cards in my wallet right now. I always get the Tube.”
Asked if she has been on the latest Elizabeth line, which opened last year, she said: “I haven’t but I hear its lovely!”
Margot developed a taste for the Tube in 2014 when she was in the capital filming war flick Suite Française.
