Emma Eastwood, an upcoming actress has revealed what it was like to work as Margot Robbie's body double on the upcoming Barbie movie.
The 26-year-old auditioned twice to be an extra in the film and was turned down but unexpectedly got a text from a casting director asking her to take on the gig as the Oscar nominated actress' double.
Emma is the same height and has the same hair colour as Margot, so she was able to step in for the Hollywood star when her face isn't in a scene or help production light scenes.
She revealed that she was "given her own trailer, got star treatment and was really spoiled" on the set of the Greta Gerwig-directed movie.
Despite her special treatment, she had to work hard, waking up early to be on the set for 6am. To keep the plot of the highly anticipated movie under wraps, even Emma wasn't told what scenes she would be in but she would often be able to tell if it was an "important day."
"They didn't give me any details of what we would be doing," she told the New York Times. "There were a couple times they said the whole cast would be there and it would be an important day.
"But they never actually gave me any details of what we would be doing until I was on set."
Emma will only be able to see the movie when it's out in cinemas.
She took to Twitter to share what working with Margot was like, despite their scenes rarely overlapping.
She said that the A-Lister was "amazing, so lovely" and "even sweeter than you'd expect."
"She told me she felt like she was looking in the mirror and I almost fainted," Emma added.
Emma's revelation of life on the set of Barbie comes after Airbnb announced a real-life Barbie dream house that you can stay in, located in Malibu of course.
The Barbie movie, starring Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, has so far, released two amazing trailers depicting the imaginative and incredibly pink world created by the fashion doll company that have absolutely stirred the fanbase.
The movie comes out July 21 in the U.S. and internationally on July 19.
