It has been a turbulent few years at Old Trafford, but Marcus Rashford has been one of the few constants for Manchester United.
The England international has been a staple in the Red Devils' first team for the overwhelming majority of his senior career, but that's not to suggest there haven't been some bad times in that same period.
Here Mirror Football looks at the recent highs and lows in Rashford's Man United career from struggling under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick and looking genuinely unhappy, to finding his feet again this season under new boss Erik ten Hag.
The Solskjaer and Rangnick saga
Under the guidance of Solskjaer, many thought Rashford would go from strength to strength. The script was already written in the eyes of many - a club legend who plays in the same position as the local boy donning the number 10 shirt gunning for glory.
It worked until it didn't and once it didn't, things soured quickly. Rashford was briefly taken out of the team under the Norwegian, before being reintroduced for the 2021 clash with Tottenham, which United won 3-0.
The England star scored and the emotions seemingly overcame him in the aftermath, shouting and screaming in front of his supporters - something he later put down to pure elation and relief.

Others speculated that it actually came from his frustration at being benched in previous games and was indicative of his frustration towards the boss.
Speculation of a dressing room rift was soon followed by rumours touting Rashford with an Old Trafford exit, with Paris Saint-Germain reported as the most interested suitor. Twitter was rife with excited fans discussing a potential Kylian Mbappe-Rashford partnership, but the move never materialised.
Things didn't exactly ease up once Solskjaer was sacked, with Ralf Rangnick's interim reign bringing some tough tests of its own.
After dropping Rashford for a Manchester derby, Rangnick was forced to address claims that the forward wasn't being given enough minutes.
"I don't think that he's not had enough game time," claimed the German. "He's had 13 or 14 games since I've been here now. He's played more games from the start than he didn't play from the start.
"I don't think this is an issue and he never said anything about that when we spoke yesterday. But again, the window is closed right now."
Rangnick even went as far as to claim that if Rashford wanted out, he knew where the door was but he would have to wait until the window opened.
He added: "Suppose he and his agents or his family at one stage of the summer think about maybe going to another club, well then he can do that, but in the summer."
The Harry Maguire bust-up
To return to the Solskjaer-era briefly, the then-United boss was questioned over Rashford's morale further after an on-pitch war of words with his own teammate and captain Harry Maguire.
During a behind-closed-doors clash against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, Rashford's frustration reached boiling point after he was berated by the skipper for being caught offside.
"What do you want me to do?" Rashford shouted before a furious Maguire replied: "F*****g get back onside!"
Refusing to leave it there, Rashford fired back as he appeared to tell Maguire to "shut the f*** up, f****** k*******".
The exchange rather epitomised Rashford's frustrations during this period with the argument summing up just how fragmented the entire Man United squad had become.
Better days under Ten Hag
If Rashford ever was fed up on the left wing, new boss Ten Hag has quickly seen to that. The Dutchman has made sure to deploy the Three Lions star through the centre of his attack, even if it has meant dropping Cristiano Ronaldo more often than not.
The 25-year-old has netted four in the league so far this term and while that may not seem like a world-class return, it marks Rashford equalling his entire tally from last season in less than half the amount of games.
His latest effort came in the form of a bullet header against West Ham. The goal proved to be the difference between the two sides and inspired some praise from his boss after the full-time whistle.
Following what was Rashford's 100th goal in a United shirt, Ten Hag was asked whether he could blossom into an elite forward. The United boss replied: "He already is, if you score 100 for Manchester United before you are 25.
"But it's about trophies to win with your club, and I think he can develop even more. Two headers [in consecutive games]: we've worked a lot on that, we had to improve, and you see what's happening.
"He is much more consistent and resilient – already a great player but still room for improvement. Where it will end [his career] who knows, but I am sure it will be great."
After some pretty rocky periods, the future finally looks bright again for Rashford at United.
