Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has sent a message to Lisandro Martinez after it was announced he was on the verge of a move to Old Trafford.
United have agreed a fee of £46.8million, rising to £55.3m, for Martinez on a five-year contract. The deal also includes the option of an additional year.
The move is still subject to a medical, but an announcement was required as Ajax had to inform the Amsterdam stock exchange of material transactions. Martinez will become Erik ten Hag's third signing as United boss following the arrivals of Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen.

After the deal was announced, Rashford wasted no time in looking to welcome the man who he will soon be able to call his teammate. He wrote on Twitter: "Welcome to Manchester Lisandro."
