Marcus Rashford reportedly saved Aston Villa star Alisha Lehmann after she was mobbed by a group of men at a nightclub.
The footballers were on separate night outs at Chinawhite Manchester in early April when Rashford rescued Lehmann upon her arrival at the venue. Dubbed the 'world's sexiest footballer', the Swiss national was immediately hounded by a crowd of fans, but was saved by the Manchester United striker when he spotted the situation.
To help Lehmann escape the frenzy, Rashford invited her to join him and his friends in the club's exclusive VIP area. She thanked him for the kind offer and enjoyed the rest of the night with her pals without any further hassle, the Daily Star reports.
A source from the club told The Sun: "Marcus cleared a table and invited her and her friends to join them. It was the first time they’d met but he knew who Alisha was.
"They exchanged a few words and she thanked him then they carried on partying with their separate sets of friends. She thought he was a gent."
Lehmann, who has over 13 million Instagram followers, was previously approached by an adult website who offered her £80,000 to produce content with them. The forward was also granted her own FIFA 23 kit this week, which led to a flirty exchange with tennis ace Stefano Tsitsipas during the deal announcement.
However, Lehmann will be hoping new pal Rashford leaves his scoring boots at home when United take on her Villa side on Sunday afternoon.
Both sides are in desperate need of three points as they chase a top-four spot.
